Justin McCoy was Leader of the National Party from 1992 to 2004 and a Member of Parliament in the nation of Qumar.

Early Years[]

Justin was born May 3rd, 1958, in northern Ireland to a family of five other children. After receiving a college degree in Ireland, he moved to Qumar for a law job in a large oil firm that paid very well. He later decided to get involved in politics and was elected a member of parliament.

Member of Parliament[]

Justin was elected a member of Parliament in the 1984 Qumar Election. McCoy served well in the National Party as the parties first floor whip, he ensure his party voted how they liked which was especially important in a coalition government under Prime Minister William Monroe.

Justin sponsored the large defense budget addition in 1986 under William Monroe and received his first national popularity as a result. He was later elected leader of the National Party.

Lead of the National Party[]

Justin was elected leader of the National Party in the 1992 Leadership Election. He continued to serve as leader of the party well until 2004 when he decided not to run again for election.

Justin was a strong leader of the party and was considered very good at his job. He often made long speeches to parliament that would impress both sides of the bench, and certainly the voters, and it was that that won him the 2000 Leadership election that ended up being quite close.

Deputy Prime Minister of Qumar[]

McCoy was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of Qumar under Julia Fernan after a Hung Parliament resulted in a coalition government. McCoy was relatively unseen as Deputy Prime Minister and worked quietly behind the scenes to assist Julia in whatever she needed, secretly hoping his conections would help him become the first National Prime Minister.

Following the 2002 Special Election and Leadership Spill in the National Party, McCoy retired from politics.

Holly Grant was elected Prime Minister in 2004.
